A1: An Employment-seeking Visa is a multiple-entry visa available to foreign professionals who intend to engage in professional work in Taiwan. Valid for three months and allowing for a stay of up to six months, it may be applied for at an overseas mission of the ROC (Taiwan).
Q2: How can I apply for an Employment-seeking Visa?
A2: Applicants who meet one of the following criteria are eligible to apply for an Employment-seeking Visa:
- Has employment experience, with an average monthly salary or remuneration over the past six months equivalent to not lower than NT$47,971.
- Has no employment experience, but has graduated within the past year from one of the world’s top 1,500 universities as accredited by the Ministry of Education.
- Is deemed otherwise eligible by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs following consultations with the central competent authority.

Q3: How can I apply for an Employment-seeking Visa in countries where there is no ROC (Taiwan) embassy, consulate, or representative office?
A3: Except for nationals of certain countries, individuals can apply for an Employment-seeking Visa at any ROC (Taiwan) embassy, consulate, or representative office. However, in order to expedite the review process, we recommend that, where possible, individuals submit applications in countries where they reside or work.
