Excluding the jobs listed on this page that the Act requires professional work permits to engage in specific types of work, a general foreign professional work permit will be handled in accordance with the Employment Service Act and its relevant sub-laws (such as Qualifications and Criteria Standards for Foreigners Undertaking the Jobs Specified Under Subparagraph 1 to 6 of Paragraph 1 of Article 46 of the Employment Service Act, and Regulations on the Permission and Administration of the Employment of Foreign Workers).
