Considering the specific nature of artists’ work, characterized by freelancing cases by multiple employers and to elevate the arts and culture job market of the State, Article 10 of the Act stipulates that “a foreign professional who works as an artist may apply directly to the Ministry of Labor for a permit to engage in artistic work in the State” to enhance the recruitment of artists to Taiwan.
