Conference topics include: the issuance and online application of the Employment Gold Card, qualifications for foreign special professionals, short-term tutorial school teachers & freelance artists, work permits for teachers, the issuance of employment-seeking visas, personal work permits for adult children, tax incentives, the new labor pension system, and other regulations and application procedures. Q&A discussions between attendees and relevant ministries were also held.
The conference began with opening remarks by NDC Minister Chen Mei-ling and was hosted by NDC Deputy Minister Kao Shien-quey. Video recordings of this meeting will be further developed into a promotional video and uploaded to online video-sharing websites, enabling the public to better understand the key measures of the Act.
